Some Useful Links

• Athletic.net : This site has team meet schedules and sometimes links to those events. The main benefit is historical race times. Your son will have a profile created by the team. So you will be able to see his events over his career. The same site also is use for track and field events.

• MileSplit: This site is more of a place for articles and news, and also might have info on the invitational meets.

• PreCalTrack: Also has track articles, and sometimes will have photos from photographers at the big meets.

• XCStats: This site has historical data for not only your runner but also the team going back pretty far. This site also used by the kids to log their summer runs so the coaches can make sure they are keeping up their mileage.

• Timing Results:

  • Live results from meets will be at a variety of places. Usual the meet will post or display what the live results sites is located.

    • TrackScoreBoard - Used for last year’s WCALs, CCS, and State meet

    • FinishedResults - This site had the Clovis Invite results last year

    • AthleticLive.net - Athletic.net has a live section that they partner with various timing companies.

• Extreme Heat Policies (CIF) : California has passed laws requiring high school sports to monitor and adjust practices based on heat and Wet Bulb Globe Temp readings.
